Have you seen this?

Centrafuse Carputer, CarPC & UMPC Forums - Centrafuse Downloads - Playlist Importer

The developer is still active in the forums, but he is not active in that plugin thread for a while. Maybe you could use some help?

I don't have 3.1 in the car yet, but I hope to be able to test your work soon in my desktop.

Thanks.

Post a couple of M3U files and it should be doable. Reading in playlists from nearly any format is actually quite trivial.

Thanks for the offer, but in all honesty this isn't too tough to program and there isn't very much left to program at this point.

Now you're all probably saying, well why isn't it done yet? To answer... the desktop I use for all my programming is currently stuck in a blue screen of death loop. I've been extremely busy so I haven't had time to fix the damn thing until today.

It's looking like a memory issue right now and I'm running memtest86 to figure out which stick is bad. I'll hopefully finish the programming this week and give you all a final-ish product next Monday.

Oh and Gobanna, in post 20, I asked you a little more about the bouncing problem, I think you missed that post.

Am I missing something with the extensibility of centrafuse's internal playlist format?

I don't know what need there would be for a custom format when there are plenty of standardized, easily-importable playlist formats that would let users create playlists on external systems and then import them.
