David: Any thoughts on this?
Also, are the 3 POI buttons issue fixed in the next release? Gas, Food, Hotel etc.

not sure why it would not show the right house number, I use history and have never noticed, but maybe it was getting me close enough to where I wanted to go and I didnt' look at the label much...
I assume you may be right, it takes the lat/long, and calculates the history and it may sometimes be off by a house number or so... this woudl be a Destinator issue, nothing I could fix easily... the 3 POI buttons will be fixed as soon as I get the new download page working on My Account and you can use the new Map Installers... been working on them all weekend, finally fixed a last minute bug and hope to upload them tomorrow and turn it on... don't quote me on it because I thought I would have them up by Saturday morning, but I'm working day/night to get them up, my account working properly, all last minute bugs into 2.0 Final, and the store back up... haven't slept much in about 4 days ![]() david |

Ok, I just wanted to make you aware of the issue. When I look at history, I look for the number of the house first, so if the number is off, the address wouldnt make any sense on the first look. In my case its off by 1 number, but I am sure there might be places where houses are more closer to each other and might be off by more than 1 number.
Ok, this can wait... Get some sleep. I wont ask anymore questions... Thanks for all your help. Sweet dreams

Not just Centrafuse/Destinator
FYI, every mapping software I've ever used shows my house number off by 100.
This includes Garmin, OnCourse Navigator, Streets and Trips and Google Maps as well as Centrafuse/Destinator. I try not to sweat the little stuff. I've found navigation software gets me close and that I need to use my pea brain to finish the trip. This also includes paying attention to signs, one-way streets etc. But, y'all knew that, right? |

I had no intention of making them fix it ASAP. I just wanted to bring it to Davids attention in case there was something he could do about it before the final release. If its not up to them, so be it. I am not worried about it at all. I will just have to use my pea brain a little harder... Maybe a split pea in my case

I have noticed this, but what happens is the latitude/longitude gets geocoded different when looking up the history...
I have a note to let Destinator know, but nothing we can change in Centrafuse now... david |
