Navigation - Navigation - POI search incredibly slow

Please give a brief description of the issue here
POI search incredibly slow

Which product are you experiencing this problem with
Navigation

What version of Centrafuse are you running
2.0 Release (don't remember the buld number)

What module in Centrafuse are you experiencing this issue in
Navigation

Are you able to reproduce this bug at will
Yes

What were you doing when you encountered the bug
Whenever I search for a POI (either using the explicit search function or looking for the preset categories: gas, shopping, etc.) it takes as much as a minute to produce results. Is this something that is restricted solely by my processor/memory or is this something that could be optimized somehow either by me or a by a bug fix?

Are the PC specs under your user name the same as the system you are reporting this bug for
Yes

If you answerd 'No' above, then please detail your system here

You don't have any CarPC specs listed under your name. Please fill out this part of your profile as it's vital to bug reports like this.

If we don't have that information in the next 48 hours, I will be forced to close this report.

Also, as per the bug reporting rules, we must have a log report to keep this bug report open.

Weird - my specs were there but not showing, now they are. I'll get a report this afternoon.

Ok, I figured that this issue is due to the POI distance setting. I had it set to the default which caused it to search very far for all the POIs, thus it took a long time. I made the setting a lot shorter and now it doesn't take more than a second or 2 to search. I recommend lowering the default, but probably not necessary. Please close
