New to OBD

I am new to these forums, new to CF, and most definately new to OBD. I am riding a motorcycle and creating a tablet interface for various information, like CF and am planning on purchasing when it is available. I am interested in the OBD interface and would like to have some of the info available and it seems in my initial research that my fuel injected motorcycle is obd compatible. What information can I get from these tools?

CF will show you Speed, Engine RPM, Coolant Temp, Intake Air Temp, Engine Load, Air Flow Rate, Fuel Pressure, Intake Manifold Pressure, Timing Advance, Throttle Position, Short Term Fuel Trim, Long Term Fuel Trim, PTO Status, Fuel System Status, Engine Run Time, and OBDII Type. Most vehicles do not support some of these sensor readings, so as to which make and model supports what, that's up in the air.

ok, how do I find out what my vehicle supports, as for speed, is that from the ecu or from gps? I am assuming since it is on this thread it is from ECU. Coolant Temp would be good, Engine rpm is a must, fuel pressure good, and fuel system status. What about oil pressure and or temp. How can I get outside temp or would that be the same as intake air temp (depending on where it is measured)? How can I get distance data for trip meters?
