It will not be listed as DLink in the INF file. DLink does not make the chipset, CSR does. I have 3 models DBT-120 that were used in testing, all were flawless.

Here I am!
Bad Message!
The DBT-122 does not function!!!
It supplied with the Widcomm software (see pictures!) and by IVT/Bluesoleil one does not support!! Windows (XP) does not recognize the stick!
My alternative Bluetooth stick functions against it perfectly.

Thus we must which other one buy. It gives still another stick, e.g. from trust! Test I then tomorrow again! (I am a tester!)

Here the Pictures from not Supported Stick!

Hmm, not good news. I will contact the Bluesoleil development team and ask them personally which adapters, meaning "USB Bluetooth Dongles", not "chipsets", that they recommend. Hang tight guys, apologies for the inconveniences. Just a side not that my DBT 120's shipped with Broadcomm stack as well...

MarcelP, I appreciate your invaluable testing and willingness to just "move on" to the next adapter. If one more test goes wrong, I would like to send you one of my DBT-120's that I have here for you to test with for a while. If it comes to that, and that too does not work on your system, then we have a different kind of issue on our hands. Let me know after you've made your next attempt.

I would suggest everyone tries the method describe in the other stickied thread about the belkin adapter regardless of whether your BT dongle is a Belkin or not. I got my ASUS one working using that method and it is normally shipped with broadcom drivers too.

Your tested stick resembles the Trust stick! (Look here: Ultra Small Bluetooth 2 Adapter "BT-2400p" ) perhaps they are equipped with such hardware. I try to test that times, because he is available in Germany.

I posted this in the other thread but I figured I would put it here if someone wants to buy this bluetooth adapter.

Only $5... cant beat that...

http://www.ledshoppe.com/Product/com/CA3010.htm

I have been using it on my PC and it seems to work flawlessly with 2.0 RC1

Get it while its hot kids...
