This is a plugin requested by malaki86 in this thread.

This is a very simple, technically non-gui plugin. All it does it provide you with a button which you can place in you menu. When clicked, you will be prompted for your custom inputs and the location data will be saved to 'locations.csv' within the SaveLocation folder.

The data which is saved can be fully customised within the settings. The plugin can be found as "SAVE LOC" by default but this can also be altered to your liking.

Custom inputs are %1 - %9. Giving you 9 possible extra bits of data to throw in. All custom data is considered text and will give you an OSK.

GPS Data you can use includes:
%CITY - CITY
%ADDR - HOUSENUMBER
%STRT - STREET
%ZIP - ZIP
%LAT - LATITUDE
%LNG - LONGITUDE
%ALT - ALTITUDE

The plugin comes with a possible example of how to use the Save Location Format, as seen in the screenshot below.


This only uses built in CF GPS calls and does not require any further GPS adjustments.

I found a small problem (very small) and was wondering if it could be updated.

When I'm going to a new location (to save), as soon as I get to the end of the driveway, I hit the "Save" button. I then have to drive through the lot and get parked. After I'm parked is when I can type in the Name, City, etc. I just noticed that the gps location is based on when you finish entering the custom inputs.

What it should do is that as soon as I hit the "Save" button from the main window in CF, it should save the current coords into temporary variables. Then, when it writes out the data, it uses the temp variables for the info instead of the current gps location.

I hope you understand what I mean. It should be a very minor update.

Hehehe if only all development was this straightforward!

I've made myself a new habit of getting updates out straight away on the PluginBrowser which updates immediately instead of going through moderation. So if you don't want to wait for it here you can grab it there.

I also threw in another update which tells you if Centrafuse 2.0 isn't installed and gives you a 'click yes to go to the download page' kind of thing. It isn't much but I thought it was cool :-)

That new addition with the checking for CF2 is what I'm writing about. It's definitely installed, but the plugin installer says that it isn't, so, it won't install now.

Ah damn, you are running Vista aren't you? Bound to be a problem. I'll take it out, but also, where in your registry is Centrafuse actually found?

(Download again for new version, I didn't bother with a new version as the code hasn't really changed)
