External temperature display?

Unfortunately, I am still far too green with programming to be able to implement this myself. I am learning though!

Would it be possible for someone to create a small plugin that works with this hardware below?
I use it in roadrunner, it is the only function thus far I have found that isn't in CF.
The thread about the hardware is here:
http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/road...-temp-out.htmlhttp://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/road-runner/71225-my-old-hardware-reader-temp-out.html
I believe a few people use this, and there are a couple of variations, but that is the most common design.

Basically, the device has four optional temperature sensors. The device sends the outputs of those sensors to the com port in sequence.
There is a lot more info on the way it works (along with source code!) here:
http://quozl.netrek.org/ts/

I am sure I would be able to integrate the display into the centrafuse skins, just need to have a key to display.

I bought mine from http://www.ozitronics.com.au/, who are the australian distributor for http://www.kitsrus.com/.
Depending on where you are located, one of those sites will work for you. Keep in mind they only send 1 temperature sensor with the kit, if you want more (which I did) you have to buy them seperately. It is a very very easy kit to build.
It is Kit 145 - Serial Temperature Sensor

Ok i found a distributor for germany. But the programm to ready the temperatures will not work, there is an error in the ts11win.zip

I just want to see the programm without having the kit.

Ah, ok. Try here: http://www.ozitronics.com/download/tsl11win.zip
Downloads fine, and it's what I used to test my device.
