BluetoothControl - A Bluetooth Manager plug-in
Hi Guys.
Here's another plug-in to keep you guys busy. It's called BluetoothControl and it is a management plug-in to control your (Broadcom) Bluetooth environment, as you see on the picture below.
There is not much to say about it but everything interessting that can be said is contained in the User Manual.
I'd recommend to have a look at it before you download and install the software.
If you'd like to give it a try, you'll find the setup here.
Have fun.
UPDATE 1.1
==============
I have put an update online (same location, use the links above).
Changes so far:
- Fixed the bug when the skin changed.
- Added vCalendar support (more to come soon)
- Added direct navigation feature when a vCard is being sent containing a address
- Added handling of multiple vCards being sent from the device
- Added a couple of dialogs
UPDATE 1.2
==============
- Bug with installer fixed
- Slight modifications for a better support of the Contacts plug-in
UPDATE 1.2.1
==============
- Aura skin added

Works ok for me It happens quite a few times that after returing from standby the BT doesn'tn connect to the phone. You plugin makes it easier to reconnect.
Any change that for my Nokia N73 there will be more features in the near future? For no i ony manage to send sms and dial numbers...

Hey Zorro, this looks awesome!
But, I can't download it nor the manual. Using FF or IE just gets me a blank screen after the browser times out. No 404 or anything.
It's not a firewall or proxy issue that I can see from this side.

Sorry, my server is down but I think I'll get it back online within the next two days.

This is a common problem for all Nokia Symbian OS phones. Maybe. We'll see how things will work out.

Ahh, bummer. Lemme know if you need some temp file space for distribution. I'd be glad to host the files for you until you get back online.

Server's back online.
The plugin soon will be available on the Centrafuse website as well but thanks for asking.

Excellent! I just pulled the plugin down, I'll get it installed and fired up.
Thank you!

Bluetooth A2DP
Hello, I am setting up CF on a Motion Computing LS800 with a ?Toshiba? bluetooth set. I am using this with a helmet headset supporting A2DP and AVsomething something profiles and I like the output it gives me, can your software control this hardware or am I stuck using the method of pairing with the computer, turning CF on, starting music, then turning my bluetooth phone on. It would be nice to be able to switch headsets and turn bluetooth pairing on and off within CF for my multiple headsets and bluetooth GPS.

If it's the Toshiba Bluetooth stack, you can't use this plug-in. It'll work only with the Broadcom stack (as stated in the manual).
However, if you have to pair your device each time you boot the computer, there's something wrong with your stack setup. It is meant to be done once and the computer will keep this (almost) forever.
