Thanks for updating CFSkype. It works now with XP Home SP3!

I just upgraded my CF to the official 2.0 release and can't get this plugin to work.

I uninstalled the old CF and installed the new 2.0 version. I got everything working (XM, NAV, AM/FM Radio, Internet etc.)

I then downloaded and installed the latest version of Skype for Windows. Got online there all is working good.

I downloaded the plugin and installed it (and it installed to the Plugins folder) then I went and restarted CF there was no button for the Skype Plugin (although my web graphic for some reason is an S icon which in itself is strange)

Anyways I hit the + button on the settings screen, selected Plugin, then went to c:\program files\fluxmedia\centrafuse\plugins\skype which is where the plug in was installed and click save and it kicks me back to the settings screen. I go to the button settings screen and Skype is not one of the available button settings.

Dont know what I am doing wrong but obviously something.

Thanks for your help.

Try the method that is described in the user manual on page 5.
If the plugin doesn't appear in the list, have a look if there's a message in the CF error.log or look out for CFSkype.log the CF folder.

There's no code in the plug-in that will hide CF but it appears that some Skype add-ons cause such behavior. If you're trying the plug-in, make sure that no Skype add-on or other 3rd party software related to Skype is running.

I have this too. And it's on a very stripped down install with no other add-ons or anything for skype or 3rd party software related to Skype.

Unfortunately I can't tell what's causing this behaviour. The CFSkype plug-in is not programmed to do this, so it must be some interference with some other component.

I am getting a message that my CFSkype has expired. How do I go about registering it?
