Hi Wolfgang928,
the error I got during install is at click on finish in the installer.
It simply raise a Runtime error with the CFPoilogger0.9.7.9. Nota: This was the same with the previous releases.

The main issue I had now is the fact poilogger does nothing. I mean, I've set up my France radar list. Nothing happen when I'm near by a radar.
By the way I've checked out is the POI logger functionality works correctly and it does. The POI I've saved are correct.
Any idea?

I fear the runtime error I got at the end of the installation is related with the fact POI warner does nothing.
Or I must install an other application? I think not.

Please note that I've set the following:
- Plugin ON
- Hide plugin screen : OFF
- POI warner : ON
- Warning sound : ON
- voice output : ON
- Show warning ON

- All my categories are set to : active.

Hi,
after updating CFPOILogger, I noticed that the database has been replaced and the config.xml also.
Now I know why it is like this, This is the 'Full' option of the installation.

I think an other label could help to avoid loosing all the settings.

By the way, this change nothing to the fact that I still get the same runtime error even without the full option.

Still don't understand what could be the error at the deep end of the installation.

I have tried him/it but I didn't succeed in inserting Then the run in the space Database, then I have tried to modify her list (CONFIG) in this way and it seems that is almost all affixed, but however' screened nela POILOGGER doesn't make me visualize nothing, I keep on trying if for the time being you want provere to see if what has done it is able you' to help make me know, hi and in attends him of one polite answer of yours I thank you and regard.

Lo ho provato ma non riuscivo ad inserire il percorso nello spazio POI DATABASE , allora ho provato a modificale il listato (CONFIG) in questo modo e sembra che sia quasi tutto apposto , ma pero' nela schermata POILOGGER non mi fa visualizzare nulla , io continuo a provare se per il momento vuoi provere a vedere se cio che ho fatto ti puo' aiutare fammi sapere, ciao e nell'attesa di una tua cortese risposta ti ringrazio e saluto.

Hello amemo06 and others,

i now found the NSI installer exception and the end of the installation process.
At the end of installation i modify the config.xml. If you use only the basic package (update) there is no config.xml included. Thats the error. I now have fixed that inside the new distrubution release 0.9.8.0.

Please have a look at the first post

POIDATABASE is a configuration variable ONLY for a path to the ACCESS
POI.MDB database, nothing else.

It has nothing to do with the source POI text files (ASC)

If this works, i would be veeeeeeery .... surprised

I still get the runtime error (full install).
When i looked into the xml there are german-lang. paths. like programme. I changed them to my real path and it looks like its working now.

well I will install the new release as soon as I get an hotspot.
But I fear that you have not found the same exceptionas the one I got.
Until recently, I only used the full install.
