Will CFiG plugin work w/iGuidance 4.0?

iGuidance has introduced a new version, 4.0 that comes with newer maps, more POI's and TTS.

Has anyone tried the CFiG plugin with the new iGuidance version 4.0?

I wanted to upgrade to 4.0, but first I want to make sure it will still work with CFiG like version 3.0.

Thanks..

Some of the buttons in the plugins are not working with iGuidance4.0. Specially the Destination button. You have to manually go to Menu and than Destination. I think the Volume button is not working either. It still puts the iGuidance inside the frame etc. so that part is working fine.

I will test it and put all the list of issues.

Good, well at least some of the functionality is working. I wonder how much trouble it will be to fix the existing plugin to work with 4.0 like it does with 3.0.

Maybe there is a way to have an option in the CFiG plugin settings to select which version you are running. So that users of iGuidance 3.0 and 4.0 can both still use the plugin. That way there would only be one actual file to download, but it works with either version.

Thanks for the reply, I will be keeping an eye on this thread to see your list.

Ok, just checked the plugin with iGuidance 4.0. The only button that doesnt work is the DEST (Destination) button. All other buttons seem to work just fine.

one more thing...

I noticed one more issue. The numbers at the bottom (speed/time etc) are getting covered by the CF media buttons. But I think I managed to fix it by changing one of the offsets. I think I changed the Y offset.

V4 compatibility status

It's been 3 weeks since the last post and I was wondering if anyone who managed to get V4 to work is satisfied with the compatibility after the configuration tweaks.

Also, it would be great if somone could post the necessary changes here.

Thanks,

Was there a updated plugin posted somewhere that works with iGuidance 4.0?

What did I miss...?

should work, just as posted the Dest button does not function and you have to tweak the offset to get it to embed just right...

Some other people (including myself) seem to be having issues with iGuidance v4 not embedding properly in CF. When I launch iGuidance from within Centrafuse, a properly positioned and sized external window of iGuidance pops up, but it is not embedded to Centrafuse. I have not changed any settings or anything...I install iGuidance, then install the plugin. iGuidance v3 worked properly, so I am not sure what is going wrong here.

Anyone have any ideas?
