it arrived!
plugged (white - rx; red - tx, right?), installed windows 7 drivers. I'm getting random crashes now, right after booting to the main screen - everything just freezes...I'll investigate further tomorrow.
But thanks, it looks great!

I got my cable now and I've got a few things to do this weekend, I've been doing some web dev that has taken me away from my projects. Those are tapering off now (I got paid for those projects....priorities). And I'm now coming back to the plugins and skin editor.
I should be able to put it to 86% done shortly
