Well, I locked myself in a room this weekend, I've got my DSATX's and the FDTI USB cable which Jeff so nicely provided.
Mpegbox Forums :: View topic - New USB brainstem Option. FTDI FT
I've now got all the code updates for V2.0 added to from my SDK examples and am quickly getting this to release.
I spent most of the day debugging, opening and closing applications and knocking off USB cables.
I have a few more error handling code to figure out and I should be good to go. The FTDI USB cable so far is flawless, I'm not using a brainstem again, this thing hasn't given me any corrupted information.
I will only support the FTDI USB cable in this plugin, if you have a brainstem or recieve corrupted data then buy this cable!!
So good news all around! I'll keep you all updated on my progress.
Jan, were you looking at sending me the M4 power supply? If you so kindly would I'll PM you my address. If not I can buy one...I really have no need for one...yet.

Yeah Zerach, very good News!!
And yes the Brainstem is very buggy.. and the FDTI is here not available in Germany.
My USB cable for DSATX is a Nokia 2600 data-cable and it works perfect and fast for weeks.
It is possible the plugin works with this cable?! I would test this..
Here is the Site with the working nokia-cables:

Oh wait for the Plugin from Zerach, i know it's great when it is finished.
Standby problem is with me too. You can do it but simply eliminated. There are programs and close to the end of the Com ports.

Sorry, I can't pull it out of my car and have my car (which I have sponsors backing) be down for weeks or months. It's not a big deal. It's not that I don't want to send it, it's that I can't be without it.
I will be trying to update the firmware on my DSATX though, it's not worked for me in quite some time....

Not real sure, sent Jeff an eamil a while back with an issue and he just sent me a file for firmware and told me to update it.
It's not running in a car right now so it hasn't been a priority for me at the moment.

I have the Version 0114 here. Works the best for me with new Usb-Cable.
I can send you the flash programm and data-file. Very easy/fast flash for the DSATX. Perhaps it would help you..
