You're in luck! It already does!
I did take the lazy but more flexible approach which is simply displaying any errors which are reported by MBM5. What this means is that you simply configure MBM5 to log any errors you want it to log in any fashion you like and if the MBM Plugin is pointing to the correct xml file then it will display the error messages as they appear in the log file.
If that explanation confused you at all then have a look at the manual with the plugin, I think I wrote a better explanation of how to set it up in there.

Don't know if it's a bug, but my MBM plugin only "works" when I point the plugin to a directory where there's no logfile present. if the logfile is present I get a small black window on top of CF on the upper left.
Doesn't matter if MBM5 itself is running or not.
looks like my logfile contains data the plugin cannot read ?

OK, that was unexpected but it is because your readouts don't include a System Temperature.
It was careless of me not to handle it but I'll get a fixed version out asap.
Cheers!
Edit: Update submitted, you can grab it from the Download page

Very nice plug-in! Now if only my motherboard was supported.
I would think that chipsets would change over 4 years.
I'm wondering how hard it would be to take your code and make it work for SpeedFan?

Hey Jan, I just had a play around with Speedfan and it looks like I could do much the same thing. The only part I'm not sure about is the displaying of errors, it appears that will just be handled by Speedfan itself (it could be done but it would require each user to do a lot of customisation to Speedfan, probably more effort than its worth considering Speedfan will display error messages anyway).
Leave it with me...

The SpeedFan Plugin is now up for grabs here: Centrafuse Carputer, CarPC & UMPC Forums - Centrafuse Downloads - Speed Fan Plugin
I'm actually liking the SpeedFan plugin more than the Motherboard Monitor, not only because SpeedFan appears to work with just about every motherboard but because it can potentially give you more information and you can customise it a bit more I'm quite excited about having Hard Drive Temperature Monitoring. I didn't even know my HDD had a temperature sensor! Excitement.

Strange, it appears to not work for me.
I've installed it and followed the directions. I have SpeedFan running and it's spitting back information, including the graphs.
Yet, when I go to the graphs portion of the plug-in, I don't get anything.
When I go to Current, it just shows the following in the list: 7/31/08 9:04am
Clicking on it doesn't do anything. If I go to the log list, and click on a specific log, it just takes me back the Current list with the same information showing.
Is something set-up wrong?
