Hey, Cabrio Bob. Yeah I see you spotted the short name issue Because the data can be whatever you like it makes it a bit trickier to skin for without just giving all the data a line each or streaming it one after the other but I found the solution I went with was the most readable. If anyone has another idea on how to present it to make it more flexible then I'm open to ideas!
Jan, I hadn't filled out the plugindata method for this version but I'm happy to make another version which includes it. I would most likely go for a simple access of requesting the data by it's full name. For example "T_CPU" might get your CPU temperature. This would obviously rely on whatever you name your stuff but I might include some other generic functional access as well.

now we know the name issue this isn't a problem.
A graph background colour selector would be nice (and font colour for big contrast)
and ... plugin this plugin into the zorro's dashboard plugin would be nice too

Sounds good.
I've been thinking I'd like to change the graph to using an image background, probably just stealing off the Graph skin image to make life easy. I'll slip something in there for entering a Graph text colour as well. Not sure what yet but I guarantee* it will be funky.

Grrrrr my motherboard which I have it(VIA NX15000) is not fully supported same as my notebook Dell D600...
On notebook show me only CPU & HDD temp, without FAN and voltages.
On NX15000 show me only HDD temp from one of HDD(I have two) but this one which show me It show always 0°C...
Is possible something to do? Because in BIOS if I remember show me voltages and CPU temperature too...

The Speedfan plugin has now been updated!
Features Added:
- Transparent graph with selectable Graph Colour. At the moment I've only added 13 different colours (I have to add them all manually which is a pain) Just let me know if you want a colour which isn't there but I tried to cover most of the major bases.
- CF_pluginData method has been filled out to return current data by the full item name. For example if you send the command "T_CPU" you might get your CPU temperature (if it is called T_CPU). Just remember to include that prefix!
Tested with 2.0 RC7 but should work fine with all versions.

I'm going to add some of the extra improvements I've made to SpeedFan to the MBM5 plugin as well if people are interested. Stay tuned!

For some reason, I can download from your page...privleges?
Can you post a direct link on this thread?
Also, wouldn't it be cool if you can have different configurable settings (presets) for the auto fan/temp setting?

Sorry WuNgUn, it appears I jumped the gun a bit. My file is still in 'moderation' and hasn't been approved yet. It usually get done fairly quickly so just check back in a few hours (at the most).
What is it you would like to do with the fan/temperatures? I'm not sure I know what you mean.

I'll copy my post over from the other thread since this thread seems to get most of the attention:
I've just recently installed this in the car again...after switching motherboards.
There are a number of features that are not yet supported by SpeedFan that this board has...like the Intel QCT or somesuch.
I've disabled all of the sensors that do not show correctly in speed fan, but they still show in this plug-in.
Also, I have the temperature set to F not C, yet in this plug-in, it still shows as C.
I'm sure these are minor bugs, but I wanted to point them out!
Thanks again for a great plug-in!

In Speedfan, you can set the upper temp limit and max fan speeds...
It would be really cool to be able to (from CF) have a couple of preset buttons available, i.e. a high RPM cooler mode setting, and a low RPM, quieter setting...
This is probably going WAY past the scope of the original plugin though
Also, I was a little shocked when I browsed into my Speedfan directory and saw a LOT of log files! Is there a way to have
Speedfan overwrite then with the newest log?
