Thats the prob when you dont have an install..... although I have been busy working on that if you have a look on DC.... with luck I'll be live this week and CF will be the first edition.

Still - its worth a thought....
If David has some kind of web front end on his main web site this could allow people to submit ( after moderation ) plugins. This way its offical, your system gets used and people can see previews before buying CF. I also think the same could be done for skins as there is no one place for them.
Dont get me wrong logistacally there is a lot to sort there ( such as web space / intergration ) but I do think this plugin of yours is right on the money and could be one of the main fuctions at the hart of CF to make it more user friendly for the novice.

Thought about that as well but I think it's a bit strange to browse for skins from a "Plugin browser"... what do you think?

True, that would be the perfect solution but as you said, it's a lot of work to get it there. We'll see what happens.

Most of my plugins are in Limbo at the moment as I wait patiently for 2.0. I have also been lazy and haven't made any installers yet.
Guaranteed I'll be sending you some XML files once they are ready

Why not rename to a 'Download browser' then ? The tool does the job and I guess that there wont be that much diffrence ? You could then have the option of setting the CF version etc.... plus you have a good start as there are some CF1 plugins and previews on the main site.......
