Depending on the version, the destination is the 2 key, which is represented by hex: 0x32. If that doesn't work for your version, try a different one and change the hex value in the settings.
In the updated version, some of the buttons didn't do what they were labeled as. One that I can remember off hand was the Route button. It didn't work. To get the route list, I had to hit the Info button.

I've already straightened them out on my end.

As for the Destination button, I have no ideal. I'm using iGuidance 2004, but not a single key on the keyboard directly brings up the Destination window. I'll live though.

I just tried it. It fits well however below are the results of the default buttons:

+/- : Works
Menu : Works
Dest : No response
Speak : Changes for 2d to 3d
Mute : Displays route list
Route : Displays GPS info
Info : Displays current location
Trip : Works

Also, the home.dat and favorites.dat work with it too.

Here is an album of screen captures I took :

I just updated the plugin to v1.1.

This new version makes the hotkeys a lot simpler to manage as well as more flexible. It should also fix some of the problems people were having in different versions since the hexvalues that came with the plugin were set with iGv3.

You no longer need to enter in the hexvalue of the command but rather only the key itself. So instead of "0x41", you simply type the letter it represents, in this case "A" (without quotes). The plugin also supports the keys RETURN, SPACE, LEFT, RIGHT, UP, DOWN.

In addition, you can string commands together using the Alt-key which gives you access to the entire file menu. You can seperate commands with a comma. So for example: "ALT-F,e" will access the file menu, and then hit the key 'e' which will take you directly to the destination menu.

Hey Guys, I'm confused.
I have Ig4 and working through my desktop. If i add IG4 as a external app to CF, it works fine, but I can't figure out how to use the plugin.

I downloaded the zip file and unzipped it to the plugins folder in CF, but I can't figure out what to do from there.

Can someone please help, or at least point me to someplace that will help me.

Thank you

Allen

If you dropped it into the plugin folder, then you just need to go to "Setup->Button Layout" and assign the iGuidance plugin to an available button...that's it.

Why not upgrade to 2.0? It's a free upgrade.

May be a dumb question, but does this have to be used on a purchased version of Centrafuse? All I get is a blank screen when I select Ig. Only reason I ask is that if I can't get it to work, I want to purchase the version with nav. But since I already own Ig 4.0, I figured I'd give it a shot and try to save a few bucks.

As far as I know, the trial version is a full working version and this should work without a problem. You will need to have the 2.0 version install, this plugin is not backwards compatible. Are you sure the path is set correctly to the iGuidance executable?

Figured it out. You were correct that the path name was wrong, but for some reason when I copied it to the plugin folder, it made it a read only file so I couldn't change the path name in centrafuge. Once I figured that out, I managed to change the path manualy, and unlock it at the same time.

Also, the path name isn't fully displayed on my screen. So it took me a while to figure out that it wasn't the correct file name.

Thanks for the pointer in the right direction.
