Any updates on getting the audio recorded? I was thinking, I bet we only need to record each frequency once at strength 1, as I bet the other strengths are the same sound played faster. You could probably record any strength and when opened in a sound editor cut just the one sounds segment from the waveform.

Dejan, I know that this may be too late in the making but I just finished the development of a V1Connect software emulator. I don't know why I never thought of making a software emulator that uses a null modem cable in the first place, but here it is.

http://forums.v1connect.com/smf/index.php?topic=11.0
Software | V1Connect

It just sends a series of V1Connect data streams down the serial port and into ANY V1Connect compatible software. Hope this helps and please let me know of any issues as I only threw this together in like 2 hours!

Hi Dejan and others.............

Sorry I've been a bit quiet ! Work and life gets in the way sometimes !

Dejan I haven't heard anything from you for a while now. I know my last post said that your latest release was good, but it seemed to revert back to being slow again so not sure you've solved the issue.

Hopefully with Matt's emulator you'll be able to test a bit better now to see if you get the same issues.

I've had a bit of a setback with my V1 as well as the wiring which was only temporary in places shorted when someone fitting something else to the car trapped the main wire and shorted on the body and now the V1 is dead !

Lucky I've got a spare, but I've got to swap it over which I'll do in the next day or so and then we're back in business. I've got to send the other one back to Valentine for repair

Happy to test anything you can send Dejan.

Fraser

Hi,
You are say that you will more test if V1Conn is real problem to slow down pc...
I can't use V1Emulator because com0com doesn't work. After install Im only lose my real COM1 port look's like it is not compatible with windows 7... So I can't test it myself...

Yes I will test tomorrow morning for you to confirm that it is still an issue ....... but I feel comfortable that it is still an issue as it ran slow for a few days before I disabled it so I could use my PC properly, but will confirm 100% for you so you know.
