V1 Virtual Display (Valentine One)
Could somebody help me to integrate the software of V1Vd?
I have searched a radar detector, and the most wanted is the Valentine One.
I have seen on this Website:
http://v1vd.blogspot.com/2005/11/v1vd-v10.html
to integrate the detector on a PC.
Thanks for helping
P.S. The last thing i search is PDC over Computer.
Has anybody something found to develop?

The V1VD is no longer manufactored or maintained as far as I am aware. This is the reason I have designed and am in the process of manufactoring my own hardware. I have contacted some plugin developers for a centrafuse interface to help get this hardware out there and used by people.
Right now I have the deisgn complete and am waiting on the PCBs to be made. I am now looking to find someone to assemble them. I will be including some software that do everything the V1 Concealed display can do, and I will be working with plugin developers like I mentioned.
Thanks,
Matt

I am really considering buying a Valentine 1 myself. Just want to make the right choice between the V1 and the Passport 9500ix.

So my hardware should be complete in around 4 weeks. I have been working on a general windows application that should perform all the functions provided, but as far a centrafuse plugin, nothing is in the works on my end. I have been in contact with a known plugin developer on this forum, but nothing is planned yet.
Please contact me if you are able to develop something. I will be willing to work with you on the hardware side and provide any support necessary.
I have an initial website up which details the functionality and protocol of the hardware. V1Connect | Home

Thanks. I cant wait to see some plugins made for this. I think it is going to be a great add-on to any carpc system. There is so much potential with the software side of this. I can see GPS logging being a major plus. The ability to mute certain modes/alerts at GPS locations, the ability to fake alerts in known hot spots, etc. I for one always slow down when I get a Ka hit, so faking it would do the trick
