tempgp, attached is a screenshot of event log of the error I mentioned some time back of deviare crashing CF intermittently when GMPC give directions prompt the first time after setting a destination. I know you are looking for help to code the hooking module so hopefully this bit of info will be useful in future.

Carz in the error it is shown that you are running net 2.0, any reason to that you are not running net 3.5 ?
this might bee the problem if you have installed the version build for net 3.5.

Does not CF3 now provide a keyboard to use with all apps? It works for me brilliantly

If I'm not mistaken CF2 needs .Net Framework 2.0 while tempgp's plugin needs 3.5. In any case, I've all versions from 1.1 to 3.5 SP1 installed as per attached (taken from notebook).

My car pc is the one having this intermittent issue but it has all versions of .Net Framework installed as well. I've not encountered the same problem on my notebook being it's only meant for testing rather than running it frequent enough to encounter it.

3.5 beside installing 3.5 also updates 2.0 & 3.0 to SP1.

3.5 SP1 updates 2.0 & 3.0 to SP2 and 3.5 to 3.5 SP1.

I'm wondering if for some reasons, 2.0 SP2 or 3.5 SP1 is not compatible with CF2 and/or this plugin (deepulse only referred that it needs 3.5) and that I should uninstall 3.5 SP1 (not sure if it will revert 2.0 & 3.0 to SP1).

What versions of .Net Framework do you guys who are not having this issue have installed? Perhaps it will give me some valuable clues.

Haven't gotten around to uninstall 3.5 SP1 yet. I'll test if it makes a difference when I pull out my Infill G4 for upgrade or just stick with it for newer plugin version, whichever comes first.
