RelayBoard Plugin
Hi all,
This is my(our) first Plugin (Suggestion from Whistler: relay board plugin) and i hope to learn more about developing CF-Plugins ( VB.NET).
Thanks fishskin for helping out to finish this Plugin.
Latest Status:
01/2010:
We have new involved People: no-tec !!! ( A Selected Portfolio of Trevor Wernisch)
Thanks to him for helping out to make the graphic design and make this new coming plugin better!
11/2009:
Working on new CF3-Plugin/Skin and wait for the new DMK I/O Board from Krasen.
For the final DMK I/O Board plugin release it'll be this way: - One main menu button
- Tabs or list to select relay page, analog input page, ...
- Max. 8 buttons or labels per page
- Left/right buttons to switch to the next page, e.g. relay 1-8, relay 9-16, ...
07/2009:

Features:- the plugin will "remember" the last status of the relay and switch it to this status when the pc boots up
- option for each relay button to define it as a normal switch or a momentary switch
- Switching for a defined period of time
- Plugin is compatible for the 1, 8 and 16 relay board
- Support for LogoDashboard (have to update last Installer, until new installer is finished see here for more Info)

I Like the look of it.
I Would find this very handy. I assume it will remember what relays should be on after a reboot.
A suggestion for after it works though is maybe additional settings to buttons so for eg a button labeled "Window Demister" you can make it stay on for 10 minutes and it turns back off. Sorry im inexperienced with plugins so am not 100% familiar with its capabilities.

Hmm.. good Idea.
For what do you need this 10-minute delay?
I understood you correctly?
Example:
"Button1": Click -> "ON" (timer starts)
after 10 minutes "Button1" = "OFF".

So what is your problem with reading on com port?
This board do not have checking state command so you don't need any reading on com port. You need only writing...

The next days i order 10x relayboard, then I work on plugin.
(If someone in Europe wants to have a board should take here: Relayboard-Order for 29,- € (+Shipping)
