I removed the option to remove the bottom bar with the last update (v1.2). You can however remove the top music bars. One bar is obviously required and with the last update, you can now fully customize that bar via the skin. (including toggling it via a button)
As to your request, the skin file now fully controls the customization for the app including offset values, hotkeys, whether the top bar is shown, etc. So definitely feel free to change the skin to your needs. The skin that's included is for iGuidance and the offsets are specific to that application only. It'd be great if you, or someone else, can release a skin for Navmii since I know others use that as well with this plugin.
The reason for moving these settings out of the plugin's settings and into the skin is specifically for that reason...so users can share their own skins for a specific app. It will also help keep separate customizations once the plugin supports multiple applications.
I'll take a look as to why it may close when going back to the main screen. I don't know how that could be possible though, does it do it every time?

Thanks - I've went ahead and made a skin up for Navmii, but all I did was remove the bottom bar. Can you have a quick look at it for me to let me know if I've done it right?
It does look OK, but don't know if it's technically correct!
I'd ideally want the top bar to be modified a bit to include a home button.
Another option would be - when you go into full screen, tapping anywhere once brings you back to normal scren -effectively disabling the tapping within the embedded program.
Could you make it exit full screen on a double tap? That way we could use the application in full screen mode too!
Thanks

I haven't installed AppLoader yet - waiting to install v3.1 hopefully in the next day or 2, but I had a question/suggestion:
Maybe add the option of being able to display a info header bar onto the skin. Include icons and such to indicate:
Internet connection status
GPS signal strength
Phone icons (I don't use it, but others do)
Current day of week (3 letter), date and time
Title of currently playing song or XM/Sirius info

I'm on their beta program for North Carolina. So far the builds are quite good and routing is excellent.
It has all the goodness of iGuidance with better looking maps and a few other features. Don't get me wrong, I still like iGuidance but Navmii should be cheaper.
Also, I think they may price per state so you can buy just the ones you need (at least for the phones). Hopefully you can buy just your state, or the entire USA when it's avaialble. They haven't released any info about this yet though.

Chris,
I saw your post on Navmii about the icons not scaling. I tried Navmii with CF 3.0 using apploader 1.2 and it worked fine. I haven't installed apploader 1.3 yet but noticed you were having issues with it.
Did you run 1.2 with CF3.0 with success and now have 1.3 and 3.1 having the scaling issues?
I'm in the same boat where I just need the plug-in to load the application and then hide the bottom bar. In Navmii you only need the little arrow in the lower right hand corner to do everything so the bottom bar isn't needed.

I have a small issue with the on screen keyboard when using AppLoader with GMPC. When I go to type in a destination city and I hit enter the first letter does not get typed in. This makes it very hard to put in an address. It seems like its switching back to GMPC and entering the text too quickly.
I'm running CF 3.1 with AppLoader 1.3 on an Atom N330 running Win7 32bit.

Hi, yes - because the options have been removed from the plugin to hide the bars hard coded from the settings and moved into the skin file, I had to play about with it.
The skin.xml file I posted above makes it work fine.

I downloaded the 3.1 Update of the app and it is working great. However, i am having trouble changing the icon that is displayed in centrafuse. I have tried editing the icon.png file in the xml with no luck. It stays stuck on the original iguidance icon. any help would be appreciated.

You need to create an custom icon and replace the one included with AppLoader with your new icon.

Thanks malaki86, for reminding me that when offering help I should take nothing for granted. Bad Habit of mine.
