Ok, So I've got my vag-com KKL working. (after 3years, I never guessed it was going to me me smile like a little boy who just got some candy)
Now the Plug-in to CF3 is not working for me, Mainly I think this is due to me running CF beta 3.1.2.119. Where some main buttons are relocated, therefore I can't access the config button.
I'll attach the *.log file, but I'm quite confident that there's not much to help.

Hi,
i checked the code and I saw that the Scale Method wasn't updated as in the full version.
I repaired it and reuploaded the file. Your relocation is caused because of your 800x600 screen size.
You have to install the updated plugin from the Download above.
Before you start Centrafuse again you should delete this file (show hidden files in win explorer):
config.xml
Located in the same folder as your vagcom.log
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Centrafuse\Centrafuse Auto\YourUserName\Plugins\CF3VAGCOM
Please tell me if this solved your problem.
Best regards
Stryder

I'll do that later when I get home again. In the meanwhile, I have modified the config.xml to have the right path to vag-com.
The connection was successfull, and the trial expired. Now I'm off to get a licence.
-I also ordered an LCD, curious how that will turn out. I like you already...

Did you were successful? I mean does scaling now work for you?
I also uploaded the first Tutorial Video:
1. Tutorial Video: Configuration
The LCD is also very fine, especially in connection with VagCom Live data.

I'm not quite sure.... I did install the registered version, was that-one also updated?
In the config file I've set to 800x600.
But I still can't see page 2 or any other buttons.
Thanks for the video, that explains why CURRENT CONSUMPTION=38% and SPEED=7L/100Km.
this reminds me of the 200m weightlifting dicipline or bobsleigh-swimming....

Hi Osvikvi,
the size doesn't need to be changed in the skin.xml. In fact it must be 840x480, because it configures the original size of the images, so the plugin knows how to resize to the actual screen size.
The plugin automatically switches to the actual size.
I just tested it with 800x600 and resize worked flawless. I thought I already updated it before, but I can provide you the most recent version again.
But dont forget to change the skin.xml back to 840x480.

Ok the resizing is working fine. But still none of the buttons is working (config - next - prev - close). The error log doesn't show any faults.
It seems to me that I'm misreading some codes. I've selected measuringblocks 006-007-015 and some fields are showing different values (11011100 for RPM)
Which labelfile are you calling? (maybe you should foresee an entry in the config)
-Is there a way to get some more data? I'm keen on getting also the data from the INSTRUMENTS-module. Probably not, as you can only read one module at the time....

Hi,
im not calling any labelfile, because not every Engine is listed there. You have to manually add "Measureblocks" to the Measureblocks.txt file if they are not already included.
You can tell them however you want. You could even name them "haha". On the config screen you have to place the right Measureblocks to the 12 boxes (as in the VagCom Window). Lets say in field 1 VagCom shows the Speed, then you place the measureblock speed there in CFVagCom. (If you set one measureblock more then one time, the last selected is used).
Cant reproduce why you cant press any button. The reason has to be connected with the resizing. This is also limited to CF3. In CF2 I'm using a 848x480 skin, resized to 800x600 too. I will try a bit on my virtual machine. CF3 has some changes which are not really good specified.
Have you changed your skin.xml back to 848x480?
Doing my best.
Concerning your question to data from other control units. I already tried that. I wanted to receive the tank fuel level, but its not usable. It takes too long and for consumption calculation you have a gap of ~25seconds where you have no data of one of the control units.
Dont know if it was also your idea to get this special data and calculate the remaining km? My new concept is to read the fuel level with a I/O Card from the resistor and then take it into the CFVagCom Plugin.
