Well after fiddling with the radio using the provided software and on Centrafuse, the results are mixed. The unit itself is great and is recognized no problem . However the reception is terrible and I although I tried soldering a 75Ohm cable that would plug in to my stock antenna I still have bad reception. The antenna wire only has on wire correct?
Has someone else tried soldering the stock antenna adaptor and have good results?

I've tried several radios and the HQCT is BY FAR the only one that is worthy to put into a moving vehicle.
Just my two cents...

Have you actually tried the silabs? The HQCT is more expensive, much larger, received a worse signal for me at least, and requires an additional audio input. The only thing that seems to be lacking for the silabs is the full software support and that is coming along.

1.- the Silabs support plugin that is integrated into CF, is in the "silabs" folder - right ?
(I have another folder that is named "USBRadio" that causes me to see two "silabs radio" entrys when I select radio.)

2.- the internal Silabs plugin does not seem to support RDS ? - or is my signal weak ?

3.- there is more than one plugin for this radio, which is considered to be the "best" ?

Regards
Andrй

Hi, I come from Germany and pursues the contribution here quite a while. Is it news to the Silabs / ADS-Radio?
Please Excuse my poor English. :-)
I use the version 1.44 and the radio does not work with the integrated plug, there is one with full functionality?

First of all, your english isn't that bad, so don't worry.
(I'm Dutch by the way )

And yes, there is some new development on the Silabs part . Check this thread : http://forums.fluxmedia.net/showthread.php?t=1953

Please test the B03 driver and report all the issues there so I have a good overview what to fix.
