Well, I successfully moved my old install from my 2005 Mustang V6 to my new 2006 Mustang GT. It was pretty straight forward, but I took the time to remount my AMP to the trunk. It looks a lot cleaner and gives the rear passenger more foot room without the AMP under the passenger seat. My setup is:
iBase MB896
Intel Pentium M 1.6
512 MB DDR2 RAM
80 GB 2.5” HD
7” Lilliput Touchscreen
Mechatroniks Custom DIY LCD Dash Kit
Opus 150 Watt DC-DC Smart PSU
Phoenix Gold Octane-R 5.1 Mobile Theater AMP
Windows XP Pro
USB RadioXtreme FM Tuner
BU-353 Waterproof GPS Receiver
Belkin F8T012 USB Bluetooth Adapter
D-Link DWL-G122 USB WiFi Adapter with external Antennae

I like the DIY screen mount. Looks great!

The PC is mounted behind the LCD in the LCD chassis. I will get a picture posted of how everything is mounted for you to see.

Wow, I didn't realize that I never updated this thread with the pictures of the actual computer. I will take some updated pictures and get this thread up to date.

Looks good!

I bet it was quite a step up going from that v6 to the GT.

BTW - I don't see any pics of the computer its self. Do you have any?

tgmaniac is on a distinguished road
I would be interested in seeing how it is mounted behind the LCD as well. I have an 06 mustang with a shaker 500 system in it and I was wondering how you hooked up the speakers to be controlled through the carputer.
