Centrafuse Forum Rules Overview
The use of this forum is voluntary. If any user is found to be in violation of these rules, Flux Media, Inc. reserves the right to take action accordingly. In most cases, the forum infraction system will be utilized to make note of a users action and how they violated the forum rules, as well as a means to communicate to the user that they have violated these rules. This infraction system is a points based system.
The levels of this infraction system are as follows:
- Warning - Warnings are issued at the discretion of the individual issuing said warning. Warnings are considered very minor and should serve as a gentle notice that a rule is in jeopardy of being broken. If a warning is not heeded, then a full infraction is likely to be issued.
- Infraction - If an infraction is issued, then the user will be issued a predetermined number of points. The length of time it takes these points to expire depends on the severity of the infraction. An accumulation of points can lead to one of the two following:
- Temporary Ban - The user is prevented from viewing the forums for a predetermined amount of time, after which, the user is allowed to utilize these forums again.
- Permanent Ban - The user is prevented from posting on the forums again.
General Centrafuse Forum Rules
- No Discrimination - You may not insult members based on their religion, race, sex, political beliefs, or sexual orientation. This is worse than flaming, because it also hurts other members of the board who fall into the category you insult. The Centrafuse forums and the company are places where everyone is equal, and discrimination will NOT be tolerated!
- No Bullying - Do not pick on other members. If you don't have anything nice to say, the don't say it at all.
- No Flaming - Flaming is the often deliberate act of posting or writing messages on Internet bulletin boards and message groups that have the intent of insulting or creating dissent within a group. Flaming may include, but is not limited to, personal attacks and persistent harassment.
- No Profanity or Obscene Content - Such content does not belong on the Centrafuse forums. A censor system is in place to prevent others from seeing such language.
- No Advertising - Advertising is not permitted on the Centrafuse forums. If you wish to advertise with us, please contact us here administrator. There are advertising options for those companies involved in the industry.
- No Illegal Activity - Users must abide by all local, state, national, and international laws. Posting links to ROMs, hacks, warez, serial generating utilities, navigation maps, etc. will not be tolerated, including, but not limited to discussions related to these topics.
- No Spamming - Spam will result in an immediate and permanent ban of the user, including an IP ban.
- No Posting Personal Info - Users may not post the personal information of another individual. If the user wishes to post their own personal information, it is the right of said user to do so.
- No Staff Abuse - The members of the Centrafuse team are here because they believe in this product and in this industry. If you believe that an individual staff member is behaving inappropriately, please contact us via the provided avenues here.
