I recon this would bake an awesome VFD... ThinkGeek :: Optimus Mini Three Keyboard
its a small USB device with three buttons that can be mapped to any macro you like... but that's not the interesting part! each button contains a 20mmx20mm OLED screen built in! cool.. |

I'm 90% sure that a usb to parallel adapter will work if you can see it in the hardware device manager. I have tested a usb to com adapter and it worked ;-) God luck...and post some pics :-D Best regards Kenneth

Im read somewhere that USB->LPT adapter with prolific chip doesn't work with LCD...
I have another question. Is important how lines/pixels have LCD? 2x20, 2X40, 4X20 or only must have HD44780 controller? Last edited by _Dejan_; August 20th, 2008 at 04:41 AM. |
