On board video plus ATI PCI VGA

My touchscreen has a native resolution of 640x480. That means that when I change the resolution to 800x600, words are very hard to read.
Tis wasn't a problem because CF works OK.

Idea is now to play all my movies on the headrest monitors (and not on my touchscreen), so I installed a ATI 9000 PCI vga card.

Problem now is that when i choose 800x600, my monitor is splitted in half (top and bottem are not lined up)Something that I didn have when using the onboard VGA.
Only going back to 640x480 gives a good image. Very strange.

I could use this resolution whitout any problem (CF words great and Windows looks right)
Problem is that when choosing this resolution TV-out does not work.

To solve this problem I wonder if I can use both VGA's.
Onboard for my touchscreen , and PCI for the headrest monitors using TV-out?
And when doing this, will I be able to configurate CF the way I want it??(movies on second screen)

I dont think you will be able to tell Centrafuse to go to the TV-out as a Display 2. It needs to be a VGA.

Someone can correct me if I am wrong.

when my screen was looking a bit fuzzy, and change the refresh rate up from 60hz to 85hz, and it solved it. Probably worth trying various different refresh rates, to see which is best

Fuzzynez is not the problem.

When I change my resolution to 800x600 screen is devided in two. Top and bottom side.
Top looks good. Bottom is the problem.
It looks like all the image is moved 50% to the right. The part that is gone is showed on the left side.

I already tried different refresh rates but nothing works.

About nintwala. Is this correct. Can I only use a VGA screen as a second one???
I suppose that more people are using a 7inch screen on the back that is not VGA!!

It shouldn't make any difference, TV/SVHS is just another output.

Without knowing the connectors on your card you will have two DACS inside, feeding 3 connectors?;
SVHS, DVI, and DSUB (these are the usual suspects)

I'm guessing from this that you main display is connected to DSUB and your headrest display is set to SVHS?

In Catalyst control center, there is the option to 'Clone' the displays, I'm assuming this is off and its set to 'Extend' the display?

Your extended display should have it's own settings section in CCC, where you can set it's on-screen position.
If its set to auto or over scan, I recommend disabling that and setting it manually.

seninha: now that I think of it, it might work... on TV OUT as long as it shows up as DISPLAY 2 in CF when you choose the displays list.
