You do realize the plastic bezel surrounding the screen/vents/climate control is shiney?

Sorry for not responding earlier, I had not checked this thread in quite a while.
ezzab69 - Before you start opening your mouth and start making accusations in regards the pictures/product, you need to make sure that they are correct. Now, let me provide a little more information in regards to the pics so people like you won’t come up with their own conclusions as you have. The pics were taken within minutes of each other. How was this possible? I have my CarPC right under my passenger seat, making it easy to remove the VGA cable and plug in another screen without any issues. The Xenarc screen that this comparison was made with DOES NOT have any plastic covering over it. I would never try to do such in order to make the screen look worse than the modified one. What you are thinking of being a plastic covering is actually the reflection of the bezel. The bezel is painted with automotive paint with a clear coat, which produces such. I would be a crazy person to run this screen with a plastic covering over it for over two years in my car. I had been using this screen since I first installed my CarPC in my vehicle. I’m thinking that you’re a Xenarc proud owner and that is why you are being so defensive. Now, I really don’t see why you would be so scared of purchasing one of these screens. Paying with paypal you are fully covered and can get your money back if you’re not happy with the purchase. If you purchase this screen from me and you’re not happy with the screen, I will be happy to refund your money. I’m sure that this will not be the case because otherwise everyone who purchased these screens from mp3car would have requested such refund from them. I have now installed one of these screen in my car and the difference is like night and day. The reflections, as seen on the pics, are what make the regular screens unreadable. I really don’t understand with people like you. You complain about the high prices that these screen are offered for at mp3car and other sites, but when a cheaper option is provided, you attack the seller without even having seen the product yourself. I have the Transflective screen for $583 dollars compared to mp3car’s price of $749 dollars. This is the same, I mean the SAME, screen as the one at mp3car’s site. I’m having the screens modified at the same company that mp3car sends theirs for modification. Now, if you want the screen at a higher price so you can feel better, let me know and I’ll sell it to you for that price Seriously, I’m really not here to rip people off but to offer fellow CarPC users a more affordable option then all the others. I don’t do this because I want to get rich or because I’m a huge money hungry company. I do this because I’m a fellow enthusiast and because I treat it more of a hobby then a business. If you really want to check out the screen, purchase one and if you have any issues or if you’re not happy with the screen, I’ll be happy to give you a full refund. Thank you. |

Firstly this is not childish, i'm raised these issues because its regarding a product which does cost a lot of money.
Look, Salvi, the sarcasm is not appreciated. I didnt mention having any problems with the timings of the comparason photos you took, however i do have an issue with the angle at which you are holding the screen. I know as most other people know that if the screen is held at such an angle to be reflecting sunlight into the camera lens its going to appear to be not very 'transreflective' so to speak. And vice versa. In the comparason you provided, the screens appear to be at (even slightly) different angles. What i origonally asked for was a comparason picture where you have two screens side by side in the same photograph. Say have them both laying on a table. Then people can get a 100% guaranteed, hands down illustration to how much benifit your product offers. My issue with the plastic has been shown in a previous post, all i asked for was clarification. Its the shinyness of the beizel on the left hand side seems to be distored in a way that represents a plastic sheet. That is all. If you can do this i'll be satisfied, and i'm sure EVERYBODY else will then be, because i tend to be very fenatic, as you've just seen. Fair enough? |
