minlogon won't make a difference to system speed once logged on. It only speeds up logon because it skips most of it!

There is a thread on mp3car about the shutdown problem. search for 'minlogon shutdown workaround'

My nLite settings are attached.

If you want dvd playback through CF, then you'll also need to copy msvidctl.dll from a complete system into the \windows\system32 folder as it is removed by nLite, but I'm not sure where.

I can't remember the vitals from a full xp install, but the nlited install is undoubtedly faster. Much snappier when using CF and it doesn't take a minute and a half to boot up. Those nLite settings are based on blk02si's from mp3car that I played with (added usb radio support, removed more unused services etc) to better suit my install.
