Anyone used GPSS?

Hi All,

I'm new to CF and I am currently trying to create a CarPC using a toshiba Netbook and a touchscreen monitor. I'm currently using the default CF skins but hope to create some skins to match the inside of my Range Rover Classic LSE.

Anyway I digress! What I would like to know is has any one used or incorporated the 'free' GPS software GPSS from gpss.co.uk? I was hoping that someone had created a plug in for this. If not I will have to plunge in to the deep end and get involved in skins and plugins!!!!

I am an avid GPSS user, but not with my CarPC. One of my hobbies is Amateur Radio, and I use GPSS on a laptop to provide the GPS mapping when I take part in competitions to locate hidden radio transmitters (DF hunts).

It is excellent for that purpose, however the biggest drawback for general use is having to import all the maps you need from other sources.

There is also software for PDA's, however I think that has the same issues.

It might be worth giving it a go, but as far as I know there is no Plugin for CF.
