Bluesoleil transaction timeout

Hey guys,

I've got a problem with the BluesoleilCS service, in my event viewer after waking up from hibernation i get this error:

Timeout (30000 milliseconds) waiting for a
transaction response from the BluesoleilCS service

This is causing centrafuse to halt for 30seconds (the computer is responsive, just not centrafuse)

Anyone got any ideas on how to fix it?

Once its started (after the 30s) everything works fine

Cheers!

This is an issue w/ virtual com ports. the solution is to reinstall BlueSoleil. Uninstall the current BlueSoleil and install the latest, following these instructions carefully:

Reagan,

Thanks for your help, unfortunately I had already done that and it's been happening ever since 2.0

I got around it by shutting the service down before I hibernate, and then starting it back up once waking up

It's kind of a work around but hey, at least it works

@ deepulse, how do you manage to stop and start services before hibernate and after resume?

Download hibernate trigger here so that you can run programs before and after hibernation

then i made a batch script (stop.bat) with the following:

net stop BlueSoleilCS

and to start it back up (start.bat):

net start BlueSoleilCS

and i saved them in a folder. I then made shortcuts to these batch scripts in the same folders, and specified for them to be run minimized (so that you can't see a terminal window pop up).

Then I just put the path into the hibernation trigger program and voila

Are you guys running the new updated 6.4 version of BlueSoleil we released as the 2.2 update last week? What version is this under?

Glad this rig fixed the issue, but not an elegant solution. we need to find out what causes this.
