USB bluethoot

I have mayer trouble installingen my phone. I have a Orange SPV C600 that had to work but.
first i had a Belkin Bluethoot stik whit 1.2 support i could not get it working, so i bought a new stik from conceptronic whit 2.0 support but again it is nog working when i install the drivers phone control does not see the bluethoot there is nog search button only connect trough com ports.
When i use the default windows drivers phone control says you have toe install at least the SPP service, but i can't find this service whit the default windows bluethoot application.
Can someone help me or doe i have to buy another stik again ?

Greetz Jeroen.

You will need a bluetooth stick that comes with Widcomm 3.x drivers or newer... Widcomm 5.x drivers are better...

You can see a large list of supported drivers and bluetooth sticks at http://www.phoco.net

Make sure that you use the Belkin (Widcomm) drivers. If you use the windows driver the phone won't work.

The install guide is on Belkin's support page so you shouldn't have any trouble installing their driver.

One other note, install the drivers BEFORE plugging in the dongle.

I'm trying to locate some BT sticks, but the phoco link won't work. Does anyone else have this problem and it's just down right now or is it just me?

Thanks!

Development for PhoCo has been stopped, and the software is pretty much discontinued. The next update for Centrafuse will have it's own bluetooth solution, so you might want to just sit tight for what will hopefully be only a few more weeks...

Cool, thanks for the heads up! I'm mainly looking for some BT sticks and what works the best, any suggestions on what I should go with that will work with CF's own BT soultion?

Thanks!

Any dongle with a CSR chip should work. I am using a DLink DBT-120 in testing and it has been pretty flawless.
