The need for internet connectivity for me would be:

- Messenger
- Upload GPS data each 15 min (in case of theft)
- check mail
- check local fuel prices
- stream mp3 from home server
- Access tvguide on home server

I would really like to listen to webradio, but that plugin still has to be made.
Another cool thing, here in the netherlands is a site that publishes the gps-locations of the current mobile speed cameras in the form of a OV2-file (tomtom). Maybe i will give it a try to develop a plugin to warn for the mobile speedcams.

As of late ... I've been using my internet to do nothing but re-activate CF so I can keep using it ... (No, I don't have RC2 yet ...)

But, when I use it, it's mostly for the convenience of other people in the vehicle ... they check their emails, work emails, work schedule(s), maybe an online conference from the truck ... there are multiple things you can do with mobile internet ... you just need to be creative ...

I was WiFi for less than two weeks until I got my T-Mobile Shadow. Now I'm all GSM via my USB cable (to charge the phone too - so double bonus!)
